Indoor LED display

01)Proper ventilation

1.Ventilation causes the water vapor attached to the screen to quickly evaporate, reducing the relative humidity of the indoor environment.

2.Avoid ventilating in windless and humid weather, as this will increase indoor humidity.

3.Doors and windows should be closed at night to prevent damage to the LED screen caused by moisture return.


02)Physical dehumidification

1.Placing desiccant indoors can effectively reduce moisture in the air

2.If the air conditioner is installed near the LED display, you can turn on the dehumidification mode of the air conditioner.

3.If there is an air conditioner in front of and behind the screen, the air conditioners must be switched on and off synchronously, and the set mode temperatures must be consistent. Otherwise, condensation water will be generated on the surface of the LED display due to the temperature difference, increasing the humidity of the screen.


03)Open the screen regularly

1.Under the ambient humidity of 10%-65%RH, try to ensure that the LED display screen is turned on at least once a day and works normally for more than 4 hours each time.

2.If the ambient humidity is higher than 65%RH, "appropriate ventilation" and "physical dehumidification" should be taken in advance, and the LED display screen should work normally for more than 8 hours a day.

3.If there are flowers in front of the LED display, prevent water from the flowers from splashing on the screen and causing damage to the lamp beads.

Outdoor LED display

1)Clean regularly

1.The dust attached to the inside and outside of the LED display must be cleaned regularly, which can significantly improve the heat dissipation efficiency of the screen and reduce the adhesion of water vapor.

2.When the ambient humidity is 10% to 85%RH, the LED display should be turned on at least once a day and work normally for more than 2 hours each time.

3.When the ambient humidity is higher than 90%RH, you can use air conditioners or fans to dehumidify the environment and ensure that the display screen works normally for more than 2 hours a day.


2) Waterproofing is the point

1.The environment in which outdoor LED displays are located is more complex than indoors. Not only must moisture issues be considered, but daily maintenance work such as waterproofing must also be done. Especially in rainy seasons, good sealing installation can help the display reduce the risk of water intrusion. The most important thing is prevention during production and construction.

2. During use, components such as the PCB board, power supply, and power cord of the LED display are easily oxidized and corroded by moisture. This requires that during the production process of LED display screens, the PCB boards must be anti-corrosion treated, such as coating the surface with conformal anti-corrosion paint, and accessories such as power supplies and power cords must also be optimized.

3. At the construction site, the structural design should achieve "combination of prevention and drainage"; after the structure is determined, sealing strips with hollow bubble tube structure, small compression permanent deformation rate, and high elongation at break can be considered according to the structural characteristics. Material; after selecting the sealing strip material, design the appropriate contact surface and contact force according to its characteristics to squeeze the sealing strip into a dense state.
